The New Yorker Cartoons at Random animation heavy responsive web app was conceived as a gift to the dedicated readers of The New Yorker. On this project, we didn't worry over KPIs. Instead, we focused on providing a fun experience to draw in our users during their lunch break or before they turn off the lights at night. Time spent on-site rose to a staggering 8 minutes with an avergae page depth of 34 cartoons. These numbers quickly attracted the interest of advertisers and a good time continues to be had by all. A Native version for iOS is currently in the works.
